Welcome to 2021!! We’re excited, not necessarily for the new year but the new things coming to our shop. We’re working on a new website ( this one is the pits ) and include an online shopping site! The shop is expanding and changing, almost daily. We’re adding some new ideas and opportunities.
We couldn’t do ANY of this without our wonderful customers, so, THANK YOU!!! Please stop by the shop soon!
30% OFF the majority of our beautiful bolts, 1 yard minimum cut (exclusions include bolts with orange sticker); 25% OFF notions, patterns, books, etc.; Fat Quarters for only $1.75 (in fat quarter section). This runs May 18-23!
Due to the latest recommendations for everyone to use cloth masks in public, we have made the decision to re-open the store, following all guidelines in cleaning, distancing, etc. We will be open Monday – Thursday, 4/6-9, from 10-2. We will still close on Friday and Saturday for Easter. Until we return back to “normal”, we will continue the shortened hours of 10-2.
We will have kits outside in a bin as well as a bin for you to return the masks you’re helping us make. We will have curb-side service for those not comfortable coming in.
We are still making masks but have run out of elastic. The kits we are putting together now will have fabric ties. We are working to get instructions together to help.
As always, please let us know if we can help in any way. Also, let us know if you know of a facility that needs masks so that we can deliver to them.
Didn’t I say not too long ago that these were constantly changing times?? Well, we’ve decided to be open next week, April 6-9 from 10-2. We will close Friday and Saturday for Easter and will be back on Monday, April 13th continuing our limited hours.
One of the main reasons we’re trying to stay open is our wonderful customers. To date, we have handed out over 125 kits for masks which total over 600 masks! Everywhere we’ve taken them, they have been greatly appreciated! We’ll keep cutting if you keep sewing!!
In this stressful time, we cannot express our appreciation and gratitude to those still venturing out. We are continually cleaning the common surfaces.
We also completely understand those choosing to stay at home. With this said, we’d like everyone to know that we are MORE than willing to help in any way we can. If you need something but don’t want to come in, just call and let us know what you need. We’ll be glad to bring it to you out in the car.
While we’ve cancelled classes and gatherings, we are still planning to be here our regular hours.
Lots of prayers will get us all through this!! Virtual hugs sent!!!
